Original painting is oil on canvas. This work delves more deeply into surrealism than any other painting I've done so far! For a commissioned work to allow me 100% artistic freedom is a rare jewel. And this one was a true gem! I intensely enjoyed adding all the little details that remind me of Guatemala into the piece. From the majestic volcanoes to the beautiful birds of paradise, I love every millimeter (see what I did there?) of this gorgeous painting!
