Moonflower is the representation of growth through pain, of rising up after being knocked down to you knees, of absorbing grief and saddness and letting it transform you into something more beautiful than before. The moonflower is the plant I chose for this work, not just because of its gorgeous, vining foliage, and majestic white flowers. Rather because this particular flower blooms at night, which symbolises the ability of our souls to grow and bloom in times of trial and difficulty.
